| Abstract: | Raman scattering in Rb2TeBr6 and Cs2TeBr6 crystals is studied. The phonon spectra of the crystals are calculated using the factor group method. The number of Raman-active modes, their symmetries, and selection rules are found. Observed Raman spectrum lines are identified with atomic vibration modes of the crystal. |
