| Abstract: | Procedures are described for the accurate determination of silver (2-10 x 10(-7)M) and mercury(II) (2-10 x 10(-7)M) in the presence of each other and of most other metals. The methods are based on the inhibition by these metals of invertase catalysis of the hydrolysis of sucrose. |
