| Abstract: | The effect of mechanical milling on materials has been studied using simple model systems. The results show that milling leads
to enhancement in both thermodynamic driving force and transport kinetics. A study of some characteristic physical properties
of the milled samples in comparison to the bulk shows how milling affects the properties.
