| Abstract: | The study of relativistic plasma statistical theory began at 1911. At present the formulation of classical statistical mechanics in the framework of the special theory of relativity is still in a controversial stage. The development, basic concepts and a number of problems in relativistic plasma theory are discussed briefly in this paper. |
