| Abstract: | The analysis of the deflection efficiency of high-energy proton beam with a bent crystal has been made and the optimum length of the bent crystal estimated. A bent Si crystal was used in the experiments at Serpukhov circular accelerator with 70 GeV proton beam. The results of the formation of a narrow proton beam and measurements of the beam phase volume are discussed. |
