| Abstract: | Several functional forms for shape function are tested using data obtained by a Ge(Li) detector. A function built from a Gaussian, a step function and a symmetric or asymmetric tailing on a linear or polynomial background is needed. A new shape function is proposed and superior fit are obtained. |
