Malachitgrün,ein empfindlicher Indikator für jodometrische Mikrotitrationen

Zusammenfassung Malachitgrün zeigt in Lösung die Gegenwart von Jod durch grüne Färbung an. Dünnschichtchromatographisch und IR-spektroskopisch konnte festgestellt werden, daß das grüne Produkt eine Jod-Additions-verbindung des Malachitgrüns ist. Die Indikation ist auch für Titrationen in 0,001-n Lösungen geeignet. Die Sensibilität der Jod-Malachitgrün-Reaktion ist in Anwesenheit von Aceton und Glycerin höher als die der Jodstärkereaktion.

Summary Malachite green in solution reveals the presence of iodine through a green color. Thin layer chromatography and IR-spectrography demonstrated that the green product is an addition compound of malachite green. The indication is also suitable for titrations in 0.001N solutions. The sensitivity of the iodine-malachite green reaction is greater in the presence of acetone and glycerol than that of the iodine-starch reaction.

Résumé Le vert malachite met en évidence la présence d'iode en solution en donnant une coloration verte. On a pu établir par Chromatographie en couche mince et par spectroscopie infrarouge que le produit vert est un composé d'addition du vert malachite avec l'iode. L'indication est valable également pour les titrages en solution 0,001N. La sensibilité de la réaction vert malachite-iode est plus grande en présence d'acétone et de glycérine que celle de la réaction de l'iode à l'empois d'amidon.
