Abstract: | We study numerical method for two phase incompressible miscible displacement in a porous medium, which can be described as a nonlinear system coupled by concentration equation and pressure equation. The concentration equation is approximated by Galerkin method, while the pressure equation is treated by the primal hybrid finite element method. Both of continuous time scheme and time discretization procedure are established and analysed. Some priori error estimates are derived. |
