Abstract:Polystyrene supported selenoethers were synthesized from chloromethylated crosslinked polystyrene and (HOCH 2CH 2) 2Se or EtOCH 2CH 2SeCH 2CH 2OH via Williamson reaction. They were reacted with potassium chloroplatinite in acetone under nitrogen atmosphere to give title complexes. It was found that the platinum complexes exhibited high catalytic activity in the hydrosilylation of olefins with triethoxysilane.
