Abstract:Spherical and unagglomerant ZnS particles with submicrometer size were synthesized using W/O emulsions as reaction media. With nonionic cationic mixed surfactants as emulsifiers for the emulsions, nanosized ZnS particles can be obtained in conventional emulsions.
