Abstract: | Phosphate sulfates M2MgTi(SO4)(PO4)2 (M = alkali metal) prepared by the sol–gel technique with ethanol as salting-out agent were characterized by differential thermal analysis, electron probe microanalysis, and X-ray phase analysis. The crystal structure of the compounds synthesized (M = Na, K) was refined by powder X-ray diffraction. The phase stability of the phosphate sulfates under heating was examined. |
