| Abstract: | Three-component reaction of methyl 2-furanoylpyruvate with an aromatic aldehyde and 5-aminotetrazole monohydrate has afforded methyl 6-aryl(hetaryl)-5-(2-furanoyl)-3,6-dihydrotetrazolo1,5-a]-pyrimidine-4-carboxylates. Hypoglycemic activity of the prepared compounds has been studied. |
