| Abstract: | The progress in anion recognition based on calixarene derivatives is reviewed, which covers the chemical modification and molecular structures of the calixarene receptors, anion recognition of calixarenes towards halogen anions,organic acids, and oxygen-containing acids through hydrogen bonding, electrostatic as well as other interactions. |
