Abstract: | Conclusion The composition of the products of the reaction of peralkylmercury and perlalkyltin compounds with diphenylmethyl fluoborate depends on the presence and nature of a hydrogen in the alkyl radical. In the absence of a hydrogen, substitution (dealkylation) occurs to form alkyldiphenylmethane; in its presence, elimination and substitution take place.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 6, pp. 1382–1386, June, 1982. |
