The Computer Simulation and Application Utility of Alcohol Distillation Column

Several alcohol distillation processes were simulated on the computer applying McGraw-Hill, s Chemical Engineering Simulation program. It could improve the product qu-ality and recovery rate to design the alcohol distillation column adopting the simulat-ion results. Applying the new type, high efficiency structure packing, the distillation processes were intensified and the production Capacity-es were improved greatly. The distillation column designed with the above techno-logies had many advantages compared with the traditional alcohol column and has been applied in industry successfully.
