Generalization of the Brewster phenomenon for the wave diffraction process

Polarization anomalies of the Brewster type are considered for processes such as wave reflection, wave scattering, wave diffraction by surface grating and surface plasmon waves. Generalized conditions for Brewster anomalies in wave diffraction are written in analytical form. The application of the Brewster phenomenon for integrated optical polarizers is investigated numerically.
