| Abstract: | Chlorofluoro- and perfluoroxy-alkynenitriles were conveniently prepared by the following reaction sequence: cyanomethylenetriphenylphosphorane was acylated by the addition of chlorofluoroalkanoyl chlorides or perfluoroxy-alkanoyl chloride, respectively, to the corresponding fluorinated phosphoranes and the latter compounds submitted to vacuum pyrolysis to afford the title compounds in 53-85% yields. |
