摘    要:“Sang Bai Pi”, the bark of mulberry, has been used as herbal medicine to treat diabetes, arthritis, rheumatism for thousands of years. Phytochemical studies on some Morus species revealed that they contained phenolic compounds1. Macrourone C (1) was isolated from Morus macroura Miq. Abstract:A new flavanone named macrouroine C (1) was isolated from the bark of Morus macroura Miq.. The structure of 1 was elucidated mainly on the basis of spectroscopic evidence.
