| Abstract: | A one-pot preparative synthesis of 9-substituted 2-alkyl(aryl)imidazo1,2-a]benzimidazole-3-carbonitriles from the corresponding 3-carbaldehydes and hydroxylamine O-sulfonic acid has been developed. |
