| Abstract: | A new procedure has been developed for preparative synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimido[1,2-a]-benzimidazol-2(1H)-ones by thermal intramolecular heterocyclization of 3-[2-(propylsulfanyl)- and 2-(benzylsulfanyl)-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl]propanehydrazides and 3-[2-(benzylsulfanyl)-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl]-propanamide. |
