| Abstract: | RuCl2(PPh3)3 catalyzes oxidation of alcohols to carbonyi compounds by iodosylbenzene and that of aldehydes to carboxylic acids. Catalyzed oxidation of primary alcohols with phenyliodosodiacetate affords aldehydes. |
