Superheavy nuclei in the RMF framework

The structure of superheavy even even nuclei is investigated using the self-consistent axially-deformed relativistic mean-field model (RMF) with BCS pairing. The isovector properties of the standard RMF ansatz are studied and the new RMF parameterization is tested with a better account for nuclei away of the line of stability. The heaviest even even nuclei are used as a benchmark to estimate the predictive power of the model.
