英汉翻译中的语用等值与相互适应

维索尔伦的语用综观点论认为，交际是语言使用者在使用语言时为了交际的目的不断作出语言选择的过程。用该理论审视英汉翻译实践，英汉翻译也是译者在言外环境（物理世界、心智世界和社会环境）的规约下，为了跨文化交际成功这一目的在语言内部结构上不断作出选择的过程。最终取得原文与译文的语用等效。但在翻译实践中，这一理论同样面临实践性问题。为解决这一问题，需要译者采用相互适应的翻译策略。

Pragmatic Equivalence in English- Chinese Translation and Mutual Adaptation

The adaptation theory of pragmatics proposed by Verschueren holds that language use is a process of continuous making of choices in order to fulfill the communicative purpose.Applying this theory into the English-Chinese translation,the practice can also be rendered as the process of continuous making intralinguistic choices for the purpose of achieving successful translation,which is under the restrain of extralinguistic reality(physical,mental and social world).The pragmatic equivalence between the source and the target language can thus be acquired.However,the theory at the same time faces practical problem.In order to tackle this problem,the interpreter ought to adopt the strategy of mutual adaptation.
