| Abstract: | A fully microscopic actinide mass formula is derived using the fermion dynamical symmetry model approximation to the spherical shell model. A rich dynamical symmetry phase structure is confirmed, and the mass formula fits the masses of 322 nuclei with an RMS deviation of 0.34 MeV. |
