| Abstract: | The paper reports an experimenta! investigation of the drag of a circular cylinder in the transverse flow of a gas suspension. The drag of a cylinder in an airflow has been fairly well studied 1, 2], It has been shown experimentally 3] that the presence of small numbers of solid particles in a gas flow can significantly change the aerodynamic properties of the body.
