Effect of pressure and temperature on the thermal conductivity of siltstone and dolomite

The effective thermal conductivity of rocks (siltstone and dolomite) at high pressures of up to 250 MPa and temperatures of 275–523 K is investigated. It is established that the degree of crystallization of rock-forming substances affects the temperature dependence of thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of amorphous and crystalline components in the structure of rock is calculated.
