| 摘 要： | 从开发真正实用的知识发现（KDD）集成系统的目的出发，指出对用户知识发现活动的全面支持是KDD系统成功的关键．通过对知识发现过程的系统分析，建立起面向用户的过程模型．实践证明，对用户工作的良好理解对于开发新型KDD集成系统具有重要的指导意义．

| Abstract: | The idea of knowledge discovery in database (KDD) is a rising research topic with wide commercial prospect. Currently, the attention is mostly focused on the learning algorithms. However, when one engages in real-world discovery tasks, he would find they can be extremely complex. In fact, knowledge discovery is a user-oriented process. In this paper, a process model for knowledge discovery is developed, and the discovery process is analyzed. It is proved that a new but successful KDD system should be based on well understanding of the complete working process of the users. |
