| Abstract: | Summary The gas chromatographic analysis of the acetonyl esters of aromatic, dicarboxylic and higher fatty acids is reported and discussed together with their electron impact and chemical ionisation mass spectra. An improved method for the preparation of acetonyl esters is discussed. |
