| Abstract: | The effect of citric acid on the stability of a hematite sol consisting of uniform spherical particles has been studied as a function of pH and of the acid and sol concentrations. The critical coagulation concentration decreases significantly with increasing pH and so does the critical stabilization concentration due to charge reversal.
