| Abstract: | A new N-phenyl-pyrrolidone derivative had been isolated from Pistacia chinesis Bunge. Its structure was elucidated as4-hydroxy-5-(2-oxo-1-pyrrolidinyl)-benzoic acid, named pistaciamide on the basis of the 1D-NMR, DEPT, HMQC and HMBCspectroscopic techniques. |
