| Abstract: | In this paper, for the frist time, 2 new species(Inoceramus(I. ) yarunaganensis, Meleagrinella zadaensis) and 1 new subspecies (Parvamussium pumilum costatus) of bivalve fossils are described in Zada, Geer county, the most southwest part of Xizang. Some fossil plates are published. The feature of Jurassic-Cretaceous bivalve fossil community are summarized also in the paper. This study has theoretical and practical significance on knowing paleobiogeographic division of bivalves, ascertaining the geological age in this area, discussing palaeoclimatology and palaeogeography. |
