| Abstract: | The slow-wave system consists of two parallel spirals of rectangular cross section wound on insulating rods; the mode of winding and excitation conditicns may vary. The field expressions and dispersion equations are derived for four possible cases. The results can be used to choose a slow-wave system with given dispersion features. |
