Abstract: | It is shown that the motion of a charged particle in a uniform electric field, obeying Dirac-Lorentz relativistic equation of motion with radiation reaction, is confined in a plane. Further, the component of velocity normal to the lines of force continuously decreases to zero. Thus, the motion asymptotically tends to a rectilinear motion along the line of force.
