| Abstract: | Stark modulation of vibration-rotational absorption resonances in five asymmetric rotor molecules with hindered internal rotation allows selective detection of trace organic gas concentrations in air by means of phase fluctuation optical heterodyne spectroscopy. A parallel-beam interferometric configuration is described. |
