Abstract:	Dicobalt octacarbonyl catalyzed silyl-hydroformylation of oxetanes can be controlled by the choice of trialkylsilane. Triethylsilane gives 1,4- $bis$ -silyl ethers while $t$ -butyl-dimethylsilane yields silyl enol ethers.
