Abstract:Grinding them down: By using a tailor‐made additive, even in the absence of racemization in solution, abrasive grinding can yield an enantiopure solid state. This novel chiral resolution technique is based on an asymmetric bifurcation in the crystal size distribution as a result of stereoselective hampered crystal growth. R=o‐tolyl.
