| Abstract: | Photoirradiation of reaction mixtures, with a xenon lamp in the UV-vis domain, facilitates the titanocene(III) mediated reduction of some organic halides. The substrates studied include ω-halo-α,β-unsaturated esters and a 6-iodohexose derivative. |
