Unusual reaction of β-hydroxy α-diazo carbonyl compounds with TsNHNCHCOCl/Et₃N

Abstract:	The reaction of β-hydroxy α-diazo carbonyl compounds with TsNHNCHCOCl/Et₃N gave β-(p-tolylsulfonyl) α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds or β-(p-tolylsulfonyl) α-diazo esters. The reaction mechanism is discussed.
