| Abstract: | PdCl2-catalyzed intramolecular Heck reaction was conducted in ionic liquid, 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetraborate (BMIm] BF4), substituted benzofurans were obtained in modest to satisfactory yields. The ionic liquid containing Pd catalyst can be used four times with a little loss of activity. |
