Abstract: | An expansion of the displacement function as a series in a dimensionless parameter that depends on the characteristics of
the material and load frequency is used to investigate stationary torsional oscillations of cones made of orthotropic materials
subjected to tangential stresses distributed arbitrarily over their lateral surfaces and to torques applied to their ends.
Some numerical results are presented for particular loadings.
