Tetrakis-heteroleptic complexation at porphyrins: a convenient route to diversely functionalized aggregates

Abstract:[structure: see text] Using a novel tetraphenanthrolinated porphyrin building block and heteroleptic bisphenanthroline complexation, copper-instructed multicomponent assemblies exhibiting distinct electrochemical and photoactive behavior were accessed.
