Nuclear inelastic scattering

Nuclear inelastic scattering is a new technique to study lattice dynamics. It gives direct access to the density of phonon states. The instrumentation and data analysis are outlined and illustrated by some distinct examples, such as α-Fe, β-Sn, and FeBO₃.
