| Abstract: | A series of aromatic-aliphatic copolyamides containing different aliphatic diamine units was synthesized by low temperature solution polycondensation. The liquid crystalline critical concentration (c*) and liquid crystalline critical temperature (T*) of these copolyamides exhibited an odd-even zigzag effect with the odd-even variation of carbon atom number in the aliphatic dimes used. |
