| Abstract: | Measurements of magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity and specific heat on CePt2Si2 and LaPt2Si2 compounds are reported. Several anomalous properties are observed in CePt2Si2, characteristic of Kondo lattice and Fermi liquid systems with indication of coherence effects below 2 K. |
