| Abstract: | A contact problem is solved for several rigid dies on an elastic half-space. Relationships between the generalized loads and generalized displacements of a large number of spaced dies are established. The interaction between flat-based dies is described in terms of their capacity characteristics. The general solution is constructed on the basis of Mossakovski's theorem. Explicit formulas are derived for a system of elliptic dies |
