| Abstract: | A new titrimetric procedure has been developed for the determination of moisture traces in oil. The procedure uses cobalt chloride in a saturated calcium chloride solution as a titrant. The relative standard deviation of the procedure is no more than 0.17%, the relative error is 3.8%, and the analytical range of the moisture content is 0.010-0.100%. |
