Abstract:Glucose oxidase electrodes were constructed by immobilization ofglucose oxidase in the blend membranes of spider fibroin and polyvinyl alcohol onto the surface of oxygen electrodes. The biosensor possessed high sensitivity for glucose with average response time of 20 s. The linear range for determination of glucose is from 3.0×10-6 to 8.0×10-3 mol/L with detection limit of 1.1×10-6 mol/L.
