Abstract:In this paper, we wish to report the preparation of three new αH, αH, ωH-perfluoroalko-xypropylmethyldichlorosilanes, e.g. 1H, 1H, 3H- perfluoropropoxypropylmethyldichlorosilane, 1H, 1H, 5H-perfluoropentoxypropylmethyldichlorosilane and 1H, 1H, 7H-perfluoroheptoxypro-pylmethyldichlorosilane. Upon hydrolysis or cohydrolysis of these fluoroalkoxypropylmethyldt-chlorosilane monomers with dimethyldichlorosilane, seven αH, αH, ωH-perfluoroalkoxypropyl-methylcyclotetrasiloxanes were obtained. The chemical structures of these new organosilicon compounds were confirmed.
