A photoionization study of the [C7H8]\documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}\begin{document}$\mathop +\limits_.$\end{document} ion formed from some monosubstituted alkyl benzenes

Appearance potentials for the C₇H₈]\documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}\begin{document}$\mathop +\limits_.$\end{document}ion produced in the fragmentation of n-butyl benzene, iso-butyl benzene and n-pentyl benzene have been measured by photon impact. The results indicate that, at threshold, the fragment ion has the toluene molecular ion structure.
