Abstract: | The molecular theory of geminate recombination is applied to the simple cubic lattice, and the results compared to those obtained previously for the face-centered cubic lattice. The results demonstrate that, for corresponding molecular parameters, lattice topology is a strong determinant of recombination/dissociation efficiency. The implications of this fact for interpretation of experimental data in terms of the Onsager and other continuum approximations are noted. |
